He said Yes

Todd answered Jessica Stone's invitation to the Sadie Hawkins dance

(see Sept 26th post)

 He made some ghosts

and a sign that said "It would haunt me to say NO"

then inside it said, "so YES"

Then he stuck them on her front lawn

We heard she thought it was great!

Bottling Pears

Grandpa Anderson gave us yummy pears from his tree.

Julene & Heather helped me bottle them

This giant potato came from our garden

General Conference

We went to Enterprise and watched General Conference with Grandma & Grandpa Jolley

Mission Preparation

Our Julene has been busy this week getting the medical things done

in preparation for sending in her Mission papers!

She has been to the Dentist or the Doctor every day this week.

Today she had the fun of getting her wisdom teeth out.

Glad she's got her bunny for comfort, she's pretty sore!

Dance invitation

Todd walked outside and found this on our front lawn

A girl was asking him to go to the Sadies Hawkins dance!

To find out who it is, Todd had to pop the balloons and get a letter from each,

then put them together to spell her name.

But they texted me and said 4 balloons blew away while they were setting it up!

But there were still enough letters that Todd could figure out

 that it is Jessica Stone!

Margaret's surgery

Our sweet Margaret went in to have her gall bladder removed today,

She has been so miserable, it is good to get this taken care of!

 Before

After

I felt so bad she had to go through this!

She is so sweet, even in her sleep she kept reaching for my hand

It was successful,

and a few hours later we were heading home!

She did great!

The Imitator

In preparation for her surgery tomorrow, Margaret has been pumping so that Dustin can have some milk while she is in the hospital. I didn't think Shannon was paying any attention, until I saw her like this:

She had all the equipment in the right place and was pumping away!

This girl is too cute!!
