Family Home Evening

Family Home Evening began with the boys leading the music

Then the girls taught the lesson,

it was on being thankful towards others.

They also made a 'Thankful Hat' for each of us to take turns wearing,

and we would say something we are thankful for about the person wearing the hat. 

I am thankful knowing that all my children, wherever they are, 

have Family Home Evening with their children!

Chalk fun and a lizzard

Jamie made some liquid chalk for the kids to paint outside with.

As I took the picture Jayci jumped up

 because she saw a lizard run up the wall

 Once it was too high to reach, they went back to their artwork

Since it is Tyler's birthday next week, the kids made him birthday cards

Tyler in his new truck, heading back to Tucson for his last week there

(Friday he leaves for Iowa to be with Margaret and Shannon again)

Water fun

Last night Tyler was able to come up from Tucson (he is there doing Rotations) 

to be with us for the weekend here in Phoenix. They all had fun in Jason's nice pool.

This morning, after Jason cooked a wonderful blueberry pancake breakfast, he and Tyler took the kids out to the lake on the boat.

Jamie and I stayed home (in the air conditioning :) with 4 day old Ryder

They are out of the hospital! Jason is finishing up the paperwork,

 then we will take a family picture here in front of the hospital before we go home.

So the girls are with the baby, Jayden is playing a game on itouch, 

Maddox is running off
